pyflink.dataframe.DataFrame.union

DataFrame.union(other: pyflink.dataframe.dataframe.DataFrame) → pyflink.dataframe.dataframe.DataFrame

Union with another DataFrame, removing duplicate rows.

Schema compatibility is checked by column position, not by column name. Each pair of columns must be castable to a common type. The result uses this DataFrame’s column names and the common types.

Note

This operation is only supported in batch mode.

Parameters

other – Right DataFrame.

Returns

A new DataFrame containing distinct rows from both DataFrames.
